I just came in from watching my field, 5 deer in it tonite! I can't shoot another but like to set in my camp and have a cold one and watch them!

Thanksgiving morning I was standing on the side of a hill on my tree farm scoping a blown down walnut tree thinking I'll have to haul that one out, looks like it has some nice crotches in it. Suddenly I heard something running to my right, I swung around and 2 deer were running up the hill at me. I let out a bleat and one turned broadside at 30 yards. I took that one and the 2nd, a spike, kept coming until it stopped at 15 yards and presented it's neck from behind a tree I took that one too. In about 30 seconds I filled my WV tags.
They changed the law in our county so you can take 2 deer a day in gun season and you can check them in at the same time.

My freezer is getting full but there is still some room for a Maryland buck.
