Hello, Looking at making or purchasing a self releasing snatch block. If I have to put in in place and then go remove it after the log gets by it vs me putting a conventional snatch block in place then going to remove it just before the logs gets past it am I saving any steps? The saw carriage up and down electric motor has seen it's better days. I have checked solenoids and breaker all working. Test motor directly to battery nothing or hardly nothing. My question is would I be better off to replace motor or have electric motor shop repair. Any information much appreciated...

i just got a mill...hm130max and tractor - kubota mx5400. i want to get a grapple for the logs. i have the 16 foot trailer. any recommendation on the grapple? kubota said that they have one for 4900 but even the rep said it's overpriced and i could just get one aftermarket. not sure where to start though.

I did not clean up the mound of sawdust along the mill after sawing last week. We got 4 inch wet snow and then a lot of rain. The temp dropped low twenties and now the sawdust is frozen hard as rock. Hurt my wrist trying to put a shovel into it and then slipped and fell on it. It will thaw for removal...
