that is some beautiful stuff, i really like the fact that the top for the barrel has a slight rounded front instead of square, it really adds to it.

All are spectacular, but really liking the barrel chest, table top,, that pond in the back ground looked pretty inviting as well ;D I seem strings of pan fish in the near future ;D
only have a few chain saws I'm not suppose to use, but will at times, one dog Dolly, pretty good dog, just not sure what for yet,  working on getting the gardening back in order, and kinda thinking on maybe a small bbq bizz,  thinking about it,

I made this box for a guy that is President of a bank.  He donates a lot of money to our high school football programs and various other sports around the state.  He has acquired a few "Championship Rings" from the different schools.  He is a highly valuable customer of mine so I made him a box from Antique Pine Beams I sawed up on my mill, for his ring collection.  Thanks

   Looks great. I like hand cut dovetails and yours look fine. I've never tried
hand cutting them. I've been using a Craftsman Jig that can only cut evenly spaced dovetails.
I recently bought a Leigh 24inch Jig. It will do variable spaced dovetails
that supposedly resembles hand cut. Going to try it out soon, need to
make another hope chest.

Good luck with that dovetail jig...I could just not seem to get one setup quite rite.

That's a shame, I know, but you give the customer what they want...and this one is a pretty good one.  One of the swings is under the porch of this tree house.

I made these pine slab benches about 3 yrs ago.  I just made the leg tenons with my draw knife.  Works pretty good for some pine limbs and a few old slabs!

Thanks Guys!, I made this little Colonial Williamsburg Style Garden Shed for a client a few years ago.  I drew the plans, cut the trees down, sawed the logs, and built the shed over a period of about 6 weeks.  I even handmade the windows.

Here's a few Spalted Maple Benches I made from Spalted Maple Slabs and a couple 2x4s for the legs.  Just draw knife tenons for the legs, gives them a nice "handcrafted" look, don't you think?

Yes Sir, I slathered them down real good, then I used my 8lb. sledge hammer to drive em on in before I sawed them off level.  and I really beat the pith out of them, almost to the point I think the slab is gonna split!

I cut these mantles out of pretty much "junk" red oak logs...I can get two per log, and sell them for a $100 bill each.  Not bad for firewood, and I cant keep them on the yard!
