I'm much more of a shed/barn/picnic table kinda guy. But I gave this a shot this winter. It didn't come out bad for an amateur. It's all red oak. The sides are plywood but everything else is red oak boards. It has just enough flaws to remind me that I actually made it!   :D :D :D
Like everything else I do, it's too heavy  and got a lot of overkill in it! The top is a piece of 6/4. It's 54" tall by 38" wide and 19" deep. The inside isn't pretty but it all functions well (wood drawer slides.) The legs are tall enough that my boots fit underneath it. The top opens up and the mess that would normally be on top now hides under a lid.

There's a fine line between turning firewood into beautiful things and beautiful things into firewood.

Darn nice job young man. Something you made yourself and can be proud of.
