I bought this round roast on sale, being a cheap tough cut of meat, I thought perfect for smoking. I cooked it to about 140°F internal. I tested it after letting rest and my son gobbled down about a pound of it for supper. Super tender and tasty with herb rub

Danny, you have become quite the foodi.  @WDH  @K-Guy   that meat looks good.  I guess you could make some jerky in one of those fancy dehydrator deals!   :) :) :) happy new year!

Doc I have a dehydrator and have made jerky with ground beef.

Danny. I've never had rabbit but would like to try it.  We had one a few years ago but my wife wouldn't let me cook it. She said something about it being a pet. :D

Trout for lunch today. Marinated over night and smoked at 6 AM to make it by noon.

So my son William and I were in charge of dinner and the wife had requested spaghetti.  We made meatballs half Italian sausage and half ground beef.  we smoked the meatballs with the mushrooms and a bell pepper first.  made the sauce on the stove inside with onions and Italian seasoning, in tomato sauce.  we later added the smoked ingredients.

We had smoked pork butt, cabbage and corn on the cob at a friends today, and i now know i must build a smoker and shoot things to put in it.

     I have two Big Green Eggs (a large and a small) and a Karubecue C60 (stick burner).  I am always smoking something, I need to post pics here!
