A big Thanks to our capable moderator Jim Rogers for his time and skills in leading the timber frame class at my place earlier this month. Jim really knows the craft, y'all!
There's is still much work to be done to complete the barn, so to finish up the project, Jim and I are putting together plans for a 2nd workshop- this one in mid January. This is in northwest NC. Stay tuned for details.

Yes, in this second workshop we'll again show the basic mortise and tenon joint. But also a bridle scarf joint layout and cutting. At the end of the class we'll do a full frame fit up, that is testing each tenon into its mating mortise and drill all the peg holes. After which we'll raise the frame.

Dates for this workshop is 18th to the 23rd of January 2021.

Contact Chris by pm or email for further details.
