We have a hunting cabin with an 8x15' porch that we framed in using 12" milled pine boards to break the wind/keep rain off gear. Hindsight, preparing/soaking the wood prior would have been the play, but we did not. At this point, what should we do to preserve it? As of now, all I have done was spray it with Bifenthrin (an insecticide for those of you unfamiliar) to protect from carpenter bees and unwanted wasp nests.
