I burn through a cruising vest every 5 years or so it seems.  Last time I bought one, I ordered it through another consultant who had found a supplier that made a very nice product and not one like the forestry supply catalogs carry.  Now that consultant is either out of business or something and I can't find them.  The vest was made in British Columbia.  The name tag has long since been too faded to read but I remember it being shipped from British Columbia.  It is tough and has many pockets, very well thought out.  I need another for my son now, but can't seem to locate the maker.  Anybody know of any vest makers up there?

I hope you let us all know if you find out who the supplier was (and maybe a picture?)

I can get a photo of mine up here soon.  It is really the best vest I have ever owned.

I have one like this and it holds up well.
The vest I bought came from Montreal.

Banksiana, Deakin equipment has what your after. I just replaced my old one I had for 14 years. The material never wore out, the sowing rotted out, so I just ordered a shiny new one, hunter orange.

Deakin is a major supplier out in BC.

I never had their vest but Filson makes some fine HD outer wear. I have a "TIN" Packer jacket and some chaps. They still sell wool also.

Big K has the largest selection I think, but Viking and Storm Master make a good product too.

The one that you have a photo of is made by "Tree Pro", I know that IRL supplies in Prince George has them.  Around $100.

Not sure if this is just fashion or a serious cruiser vest but I have one of these and love it.  I used it as my first fly fishing vest.  When I got it many years ago it wasn't this price!!
