Sten-o-mat Plow

I saw this used Stenomat plow at the Pickford, Michigan implement dealer this week.
Thought it was a very unique design. The best I can tell is that they were made in the U.K.   Does anyone have any knowledge of how well the spring loaded bottoms worked in rocky soil?  The springs look rather beefy so I  bet that they returned
the bottom to the down position very quickly after hitting a rock.

Looks like a Kneverland plow. We had one for a couple years, it would roll sandy loom and clay over very well. Stony ground it had trouble completely rolling it over, maybe it wasn't set up right. Worked good for covering up stubble, had alot of clearance between bottoms.
