Hi ,
I was wondering if anyone knows where i can get a bearing thats fits a carco winch , model 100 . This is an old winch . the bearing i,m looking for is the that holds the frame to the winch , which goes on over the shaft . the out side of this bearing is about 4'' in diameter and it fits a 2 1/2 '' shaft . It also looks like a joint bearing or s shperical bearing  . If anyone as any information on where to get this type of bearing please let know .

Hey dnsnook your best bet is to get a set of calipers and measure the shaft size and the hole size and the width and call Kinecor in St. John's and they will get the bearing you need, they may have it stock. No numbers on the bearing? That Carco 100 is not very common and a bearing shop is your best bet.Good luck.
