I've got a stash of older chainsaw sprockets that I'll probably need to store for a while.  Once I get the rust & corrosion off of them (sorry, I have no idea what caused the corrosion), what should use to coat the sprockets and grease the bearings?

Thanks in advance for your help.

If you want to buy something, Rust Reaper is a wonderful option. Or you could just dip them in bar lube/ motor oil/ trans fluid/ whatever happens to be laying around/ and throw them in a ziploc bag or empty coffee can.

Thanks for the quick replies, Kevin & Rocky J.  Bar lube it will be!
