Norwood hd36 diy extension bed

Has anyone made an extension for the bed of a hd36? 
My dad bought the mill that I plan on borrowing, but it is only able too cut 3.7 long (12 foot). Would be nice too make an extension for it too cut longer timbers.

You can buy 4' extensions from Norwood and make your bed as long as you want. That might be a nice way of paying your dad for the use of his mill.

The 4 foot extensions are $677 each here (Australia).
He didnt hold back with accessories, he got all the hydraulics added etc The Australian rep told him alot of people just make an extension for it

Dang. They're only $199 here in Canada. Are you sure they are that much?

Oops. My bad that was for the LM29. $494 for the HD36.

Yeah they end up crazy expensive once they get too Australia. It would end up more than that as well because I would have too get freight to where I am
