I'm starting my 15th year with the MP32 and have been meaning to ask someone this question but never got around to it. The idle wheel on my mill is 1/2" higher than the drive wheel. Is this the case on newer MP-32s?
What implication does this have on down pressure? If I put the recommended 1/4" down pressure at the stationary roller guide that translates to 3/4" on the idle side. That's what I have been doing since I bought it but there is no mention of it in my old owner's manual.
