Anybody have any pros or cons about a 16 ft. Lund Fury with a 25 hp Mercury electric start, tiller control, and power trim for fishing.  The boat is new.

Good quality boat, the brand has been around for a long time. That is a very popular set up on inland lakes. I would have one except Karen cannot get in or out due to her arthritis.

Never got to fish Moosehead.  I remember a lot of time on Square and Madawaska back then, and a ton of time on beaver dam areas looking for brookies and land locked salmon.

I would say that's a real good setup. The Lund has been around a long time and the 25 hp Merc should do you fine, even better if it is a 2 stroke, but the 4 stroke is a fine machine too, just heavier. The 4 stroke trolls better than the 2 stroke but the 2 stroke rocks. Either way, sounds like a great outfit.
