I been cutting firewood around fields, carry 2 Husqvarna saws, a fairly new 372xp and an old 266xp.  Every thing says I should be using the 372, but every time I turn around I have the 266 in my hands and the 372 is setting on the ground somewhere.  I guess I can't argue with my instincts.

Old habits can be hard to break especially when they work so well. That 266 is a real work horse.

Sometimes a saw is just a perfect fit for a guy and anything else feels a little "off". Your 266 probably feels as good as a favorite pair of gloves. Take care of it and keep cuttin'.  :)

Ain't that the truth, my wife says if I break that habit she has a couple others for me to work on.

I am the same 272xp or 372xp or maybe the old 670. It's usually the 670.

Outboard vs. inboard clutch, and the impact it has on the handling, likely has something to do with it.;)

A 266SE was the first husky I bought, man were they a great saw or what!!!
Kinda wish I still had that thing.
