Well I went and looked at it today.  it is in good working order needs a little Rust Reaper a fresh coat of paint and I need to switch the air dogs over to hydraulic.  I don't think I could have went wrong fo $350.00  If noting else it is worth that in scrap weight.  I will picking it up next week end.  now I need a log turner and a good hydraulic motor to run the carriage.

$350? I think you got a steal if you can keep your repair expense down and have the time to spare.

I need something to keep me buisey inbetween sawing for a living and building a new house.  It doesnt look like it will take more than a few hundred dollars to have it in tip top shape

You got a good deal, I remember selling an old carriage from an old tie mill I had for $700 no track or drums or anything  just the carriage.
