Wife recorded this on Turner Classic Movies. Thought I might like the 1936 logging footage.  I did. Movie is pretty corny but the trees being felled w/crosscut saws, loggers working on springboards,  skidding w/a monster antique crawler tractor and using a steam donkey (3 spool winches), log river drives and narrow gauge trains transporting monster logs all worth seeing.

As soon as Tammy frees up the tv from watching how to murder your husband shows on discovery I.D., aka, the Tammy channel, I'm going to see if I can find that to stream!

Found it!~ If you have a cable subscription you can go to the TCM website and sign in with that after finding the movie. I am streaming it now.

I'm gonna need a bigger mill. My little HM126 ain't gonna cut it!  
A lot of the old big stumps we find around here still have springboard notches visible.   I'll snap a few photos of the next one I find.
