Hey everyone I'm new to this site and I've got 2 saws currently hopefully getting another one in a few days, here's my problem I have a walbro hda 271 and I can't remember how it goes back together if anyone can help me that'd be great thank you for your time
That carb really is way too small for a 67cc saw, and likely partially responsible for the sluggish performanse of that saw model. ;)
I just can't figure out how to put it back together any recommendations on a replacement if there is one?

Carb is not to small. Same mm that has been on some of the older 6700 670 too.
Good to hear from someone that would know and has actually run a Echo saw. Steve

Well, I don't know of any other saws that large, that has a 15 mm carb - mostly it is 17.5 mm. If that is enough, the porting of the cylinder likely is very restrictive, or the muffler, or both...

The 81cc 8000 come with a 15.88mm carb ;) Plus 2 others that were older and 16mm :P
Echo knows what there're doing based on vids of them cutting against Stihl and Huskys best saws. A smaller carb will have more velocity . Steve
Hey-
Study the walbro service manuals available online and the parts lists will help. Also youtube has thousands of videos that will guide you to do this right. Get a carb rebuild kit first, good luck.
