We have a timber harvester and it is time to change the two drive belts.  I have not changed them before.  Does anyone know if you can change them without loosening something, or if there is another step?  Thanks.

All belts are prone to stretching I'm sure there must be some way of tightening them up.

I have a 95 TimberHarvester 30HT.
The motor pulley has 3 belts.
Two drive belts close to motor, and the Hyd. power belt.
I have to loosen Hyd. motor to change the drive belts.

If your setup is different send Ken Clouser an email.
He sold TH mills.

Yes, hydro motor belt must come off to change the drive belts. You will also need to loosen and move two tabs above and below the pulley off the motor drive shaft to get belts on and off. Make sure to put them back in place or the new drive belt will not disengage and will flap violently. Very easy change out.
