Hey, everyone !!!
We have another auction going on ebay 8) 8)
This one is for a set of four glass mugs that have the Forestry Forum logo etched on them.
Here's the link
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7207312733
These are great glasses and a fine reward for your support of the Forum. They were custom made for this purpose and at this time, there are only 3 sets of 4 in the whole world ;D
Bid often and bid high :D
Let the bidding begin. ;D
Oh, and any side bets on the winning bid? ;)
Farmerdoug
I will have to warn any bidders, if that Mississippi roofer decides he wants this item, you will have to take out a second mortage to out bid him. I speak from experience. ;D Of course he may have spent most of his money on a certain CD. ;)
;D ;D ;D
I think CK will have a run for his money this time as there is only one set available.
;D ;D ;D ;D
Farmerdoug
I'm just setting here trying to decide if I oughta give yall a little chance on this one or not. :)
Ck, if you do not join in where will the fun be then. ;) I think half the fun is just bidding against everyone else here and the other half is helping support the Forum. :) Oh yeah getting the item is the thrid half. :D
Farmerdoug
HEY, i never said I 'wasn't' gonna join in, I'm a sucker for a GOOD auction!!!!!!!! :)

Farmerdoug
Well, I've got it...for now. ;D Had to enter a ton of bids to get up there...but it's mine for now. smiley_bouncing_pinky
Why, I only had to enter ONE bid to pull ahead.!!!!!!!!!!
smiley_beertoast

Nope. Keeping busy until everyone gets here for Christmas. Just helped Tammy in some of the final preperations that seem to be a big part of any gathering here anymore. I'll give you 3 clues to what we just did and I bet someone gets them.

Thats the correct answer. :D

QuoteThats the correct answer.
Don't cha treat the tank with Bacteria, occasionally ?? Chemicals from the house waste will kill the bacteria and then ya pay the price ??
There is more to it then that. twenty year old system before it began to have problems. To many trees and two many people abusing it lately.
Hey , neat ;D We got a new button up at the top to go right to the auction :)
Last few days here..... get your bids in ;)
The Stump Jumpers were here today and dropped off our next Auction item.
A quart of their great, awesome, stupendous, over the top, exceptional, grade A, number one, made especially for the Forestry Forum, PURE MAPLE SYRUP! 8)
I'll start that auction Sunday so it can end on a weekend. I have a great photo I took today of the Little Stump Jumpers proudly displaying the jar of Syrup. :)
Maple syrup 8) 8) 8) So when's somebody gonna outbid me on the mugs ??? ??? Come on guys I've had the bid for too long ::) Let's get with it ;) ;D ;D :) :) :)
We decided that you can have the mugs now that we know we have to save our money for the maple syrup. ;D ;D ;D
SB will send Jeff to collect if you do not pay up Greg. :o
Farmerdoug
He can deliver them ;D ;D
No, he cannot. Remember they are at SpruceBunny's. But I am sure he will talk to you about the late fees and hammering, uh, handling charges. ;D ;D ;D
Farmerdoug
Jeff, nice job with the Auction link at the top of the page....easy way to check CK's progress...
Captain
Now, not to want to be a pain in the bottom, but here goes...
Ebay has restrictions on listing foodstuffs. The restrictions can be read HERE (http://pages.ebay.com.au/help/policies/food.html)
May I humbly suggest the Boss has a quick look at this before listing to ensure compliance.
The worst that'll happen is they'll pull the auction off ebay...
Therefore I suggest one of the following:
1: It's made a Fast and Furious one day auction to hopefully slip under the radar...
2: If it's deemed not do-able, we have an inhouse auction and set a time limit and an auction thread and everyone bids on here...
3: We just simply ask CK what he's gonna pay for it and send it to him... ::)
4: Ya just send it to me and be done with it. (I like this option best). ;)
Sorry to be a wet blanket, but I thought it best to check.
asy :D
OK then, we will do it here. No hill for a climber.

asy :D
Last chance tonight to get these one of a kind, specially made glasses. ;D
It's for a great cause :)
Bid them up !!!!!!
Sprucebunny, We would but we know that Corley5 really wants them so we are giving him a break. ;D :D :D :D ::)
Farmerdoug
Go ahead make me pay ;D ;D ;) :) :) Less than 50 mins left 8) 8)
Sprucebunny says " there are only 3 sets of 4 in the whole world "
Where will the other two sets be located? (out of idle curiosity) ???
They sure look impressive and distinguished. The future collector will have to get the complete set of 12 to be complete.
Jeff and tammy got a set for Christmas, and it looks like Corley 5 will have a set and there is another set here in thier nice box.
I don't use glass much..... way too breakable ::)
The fate of the third set is yet to be decided :D
Well now I could sortof help you out with them there breakables . ;D :D :D
Marcel are you going to save them from breaking ???
Or make an offering to Murphy ??? ;D ;D smiley_smash
15 mins left Looking forward to frosting one of these for an adult beverage 8) 8)
I give Murphy enough offerings in the course of a day ... Dont ask . I can tell you this ... I got three first aid boxes in my shop ... one in the truck .
I have storage left in the beer fridge freezer ;D Frozen mugs and Bleu go real good ;D ;D
I'm the winner ;D ;D ;D Can't believe there wasn't an attempted sniping ::) 8) 8) :) :) :D :D ;D ;D
Congratulations to the Corley 5 on the mugs. 8)
