Was at the DesMoines Wood Worker Show Sunday and Peterson
sawmill was there. Meet Chris and his helper and had a nice talk.
Chris was cutting some cotton wood logs and boy that swing blade
mill sure is a sweet mill. We had talked about hitting nails and he said
he hadn't hit and untill he was showing us how the mill worked,
wouldn't you know three nails in the last cut he made. Guess next
time i woun't say any thing about nails. Was good to put a face
to one of our sponsor.

Sorry din't take the camera so no pictures.

Did you get to run the Skill Mill? Chris, Craig and Layla cut my logs up at the Buffalo NY show.  I got to run the Skill Mill, and it felt like I had flipped my table saw over and was cutting with that. A real cool saw. On the last  log cut up I see Chris changing the blade half way thru. I ask if he hit any thing ( a nail I inquire).  No nails hit just a wee little dog. I hope they do the shows next year.

Ya gotta watch those doggies....even around the aluminum ones...... ;D ;D ;D

Why not just 1 pain free day?

No didn't git to run the skil mill but did see Layla run it and it sure
would be a nice mill for the part time wood worker. I should ask
Them to see about a demo in Mo ar Kan as there are some shows
they would do good at.
