Accuset2 Setworks question?
« on: October 20, 2012, 12:43:31 PM »
I have been playing some with my new mill cutting 1 1/8" boards. I had Accuset programed with the correct kerf for the blade that I am using. The mill started out cutting 1 1/8" thick. next day it was 1 3/16". Now it is cutting 1 1/4". What might be causing this?

Just occasionally?  Or every board?

I'd say a conversation with Sparks at Wood-Mizer would get you back on track quicker.

I've never had that happen.

2 cents from the uneducated... sounds like a reference point moving.

.....and have you ruled out the cant moving from stress, this throws board thicknesses all over the place (usually ends thinner and middles thicker).
