I finally figured out the origin of the humboldt cut/face when felling timber. Go ahead and make fun of me, I don't care.

For some background, I am a retired logger/sawyer who worked in northeastern/mid-atlantic timber all my life, primarily hardwoods. I did cut a little pine here and there. The vast majority of the timber I cut was less than 30" dbh. I logged with cable skidders and forwarders. I felled timber with chain saws and a conventional/open face notch.Read More

I have had Woodmizers for over 30 years and never have ask this. I just ordered a Drive Belt and with shipping they charged $227.00
This for a belt seems wrong. Has anyone found the replacement number not Woodmizer for this belt.

My setter manual does not list the tooth count for 171" blades for LT50.

I calculate 194 teeth. Is that correct?

My setter (Woodmizer BMT250) hasn't been counting correctly. I've been marking the weld and just watching it to get it to stop.
