I was just wondering who was planning on attending Paul Bunyon 2004.
I plan on going on Sat. Maybe we could meet at the LogRite booth at noon .
Chet and I are tentatively planning on coming. We will probably be tenting it.
Tom_Averwater, can you still make sure we have a place, (close to da outhouse? :D)

I'll be there.WE are hopefully going up on Thursday morning to stake out our claim,I think I'll need 10 spots this year. MNT. Jack are you going this year? Jeff ,we can always pick up and move an outhouse for you if you want pitch your tent next to it. We have done it before, even with someone in it.
Jim Rogers, P.B. is in Nelsonville ,Ohio, in southeast Ohio on rt. 33.
If someone is planning to go and wants to camp with us you are welcome to.I just need a head count so we can get enough sites.
THE CAPTAIN will be there. Arriving late Thursday.
This should be the best showing of the FF hats yet!!!
Ill hammer out our details when Chet and Judy get back home.
Jeff,
How do I get a Forestry Forum hat ?
Save me and chet a spot thats how. :D All i have is one with out the web address's right now but other then that, they look like the rest of em.
Thanks for the links Jeff.
My sister lives in Carlisle Pa, and my map program says Nelsonville is 6 hours drive from her house. Does that sound reasonable?
I'm driving the family down to my sisters that weekend for a baby shower.
I don't need to go to the shower on Saturday, I thought I might drive over to see what it's all about.
But sometimes these map programs aren't really that accurate.
Any opinions on the 350 miles in 6 hours drive?
Jim Rogers
My wife and I are going, I know we will be there saturday. Still trying to talk her into camping before its to late. She likes the motel thing, even if its an hour away. ::) :D
Jim, its a 3 hour trip from Minerva, Ohio if this helps.
We usally hang out every where, hope to see all of you there.
EZ
I ain't above a hotel if we can get one close. :D Can this show be seen adequately in a day?
Yea, you could cover the grounds and all the displays in a day for sure. But you'd miss some of the events and people.
Looks like me, Pro-Sawyer Mary and Helper Brooke will be there on Friday and some of Saturday.
I'll probably bring a folding chair and set under the orange and black tent and let the show go by me. ;D
I'm figuering on two days to see it all. Saturday for sure.
Jeff
Jim, it is about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Washington, Pa or Wheeling, Wva if that helps, I think it would be worth the drive
I am planning to go, and trying to talk the wife and kids into going
I am trying to convince Tammy to bake her now world famous LogRite Brownies for the meeting at the LogRite booth. I need a show of hands to see who wants a brownie.
Kevin

neslrite will you have the 48'' cant hooks for sale at the Paul Bunyan show . If it rains here in south Arkansas and gets fire danger down where I can get off work I plan to be there . I would like to try one of Tammy's famous brownies ;D
I would like to get on the brownie list too. I will be there on saturday. Has anyone heard if camping will be allowed on the grounds this year ?
Handsaw,
Yes, camping is available this year.I'll be going up on Wednesday hopefully, got to stake out our claim. Check out the previous posts on this thread. Tom
Hay Kevin,
Are you going to bring any ORANGE cant hooks to the show?
I suggest you bring half ORANGE and the other half the other color as a market test.
Why would you want an orange cant hook laying camoflaged on an orange mill?
Of course! I see! , You are thinking of all the folks with other colored mills where an orange cant hook could easily be seen. Good thinking Bib. Sometimes I think you only think Orange but I'm proud yer looking out for all the other Forestry Forum sawmillers out there this time. ;D
Orange is not the only color WM mills come in.
They come in GRAY too. ;D
Oh so true so logrite blue will do!
I have a LogRite cant hook right here and I'm kinda partial to that color. Its purty. :)
Tom,
Still planning on being there Friday morning thru Sun. I may leave late Thur. afternoon(after I close the shop) and get part way so I can get there a little earlier Friday. Are there signs directing you to the camping area? Does the show run all day Friday, Sat. & Sun?
Looking forward to meeting you and some of the others from the Forum.
Dewey
