Seasoned peg on green timber?

I have plenty of seasoned red oak logs for firewood but wanted to use them for pegs in my shed build. Would this be an issue using seasoned pegs with green timber? Thanks!

The inside of those logs probably isn't very seasoned, except at the ends.

Dry pegs in green beams is a good match. Green pegs in dry beams no bueno.
