My son (the forester) talked to a local classmate and industrial guy late last week.
He said since covid 19 China has lifted restrictions on immports of hardwood lumber.
He claims that his mill sold 3MMBF the next day.
Might be good news for me.
I have about a dozen mature Black cherry that are either distressed or nearly dead.
They frange from 20 to 26 inches dbh.
