Sometimes you see some really neat old trucks or tractors on a milling job. This one is cool and pretty rare.

The truck belonged to my clients father (in-law?). His son put the body on a 1995 Ford pickup chassis.

It sounds as good as it looks!  ;D

The older I get I wish my body could Re-Gen.

My grandpa had a panel truck from the same era.   :)

Boy I'd like to have that one.  :)  Any pictures of the cab interior?

I was gonna say, that suspension looked kinda modern. It must turn heads when it is fired up. ;D

Almost looks like the military version from WWII the turn signals are neat and the engine looks like the Cummins 6BTA diesel.
Classy conversion and well done
roll with it

No pictures of the interior, we were a bit tired from dealing with a stubborn log and getting rained on. It probably was built for military use but then sold on the civilian market. And yes, the sound will turn heads. First thing I asked when he got out was "they made diesel trucks in the 40's?"

You can see the DODGE on top of the valve covers. It's a 12 valve 5.9l

Looks like dodge front suspension to me as well. Ford would have had a I-beam setup not a dual A-arm setup like that.
