I'm looking to purchase a froe.  Are the vintage (what brands?) ones better or does anyone still manufacture a good tool?

New ones are made out of 1/4" thick steel, and are not as good as the old ones. A good froe is V shaped in cross section, and at least 1/2" thick at the top.
Wood-Mizer LT40HDD51-WR Wireless, Kubota L48, Honda Rincon 650, TJ208 G-S, and a 60"LogRite!

X2 on the old ones being better. They don't need to look pretty to work well.

I just had to keep watching ebay until one came up that I liked(an old one).
Anything someone can design, I can sure figure out how to fix!
If I say it\\\\\\\'s going to take so long, multiply that by at least 3!
