I was wondering if someone already has a kiln schedule to run Persimmon ( 4/4) for a Northland Kiln already mapped out.

I have a Northland 3K and have never run Persimmon although I believe it is similar to White Oak.

thanks

Drying schedules for persimon, I know nothing about. What I have cut, I air dry. I do know a little about the wood. Only stuff I know of that will warp, cup, twist, bow and split in the same board. Dry it slowly. Don't plan on driving nails in it once it's dry. The black streaks in the heart will vary a good bit from tree to tree.

I have no experience with persimmon but, from pineywoods' description, it sounds like it would dry well in one of those mountain firewood kilns.  :D
