My fan belt on my 2007 LT70 broke today. 62cat motor. Plum pathetic the thing wasn't but 11 years with 4400 hours on it. What is the world coming to. They just don't make anything to last anymore.  :D

I actually pushed over 200K on my '06 LBZ diesel serpentine belt just to see how long it would go.  Got nervous at that point and decided to change it after the fan clutch died.

   Probably just a latent defect that slipped pass the QC inspector.
