Would this work TK486V yanmar diesel out of a reefer. 33hp as a replacement on a 2006 LT40HD. I don't need it now but for the price I thought it might be a good idea to grab it when I can not try and find some thing when I do.

Their high speed seems to be rated at 2200 rpm, which could be slow for a sawmill.  My engine is turning 3K while sawing and 1500 idling.

 You can put a bigger pulley on the motor to keep the band speed right.  I'd be more concerned about the weight and  size.  Steve

You need to make weight comparisons to make that decision.  It weighs 282 pounds.  Other specifications are easily found with Google.  It's better to know than to guess.
