Title: John Deere "carrier" identification?
Post by: Satamax on May 08, 2019, 05:50:09 PM
Hi everybody.

Few years back, i saw, on leboncoin.fr ( a classified site) a sort of John Deere "carrier"

Basically, it looked a bit like the actual cotton pickers, or combines. with a cab in that style. IIRC, the engine was right behind, in the 300hp range i think. A big hydraulic system, if i'm not going barmy. And a sort of bed platform, onto which tools could be attached. Four equal wheels. Road legal here, and iirc, 44 or 66 tons maximum weight.

Does such a machine rings a bell into someone's mind?

Any deere specialists over here?

Thanks a lot guys.

No John Deere, but do you mean something like this?

Wijnen Lite Trac SS2400 | 8-row Self Propelled Potato Planter | pootmachine | kartoffel legen - YouTube (https://youtu.be/OCIWCRf25mM)

This one works in the Netherlands. It is a lite trac, UK made I guess.

Yep Cruiser_79. Verry much along those lines, without all the planting gear on top. I don't think the cab was sticking out that much forward.  But thats years since i've seen the thing.

Thanks a lot.
