Raider Bill

yesterday I upgraded to outlook 2007 from outlook 2003.
Now all my contacts are gone.
Any Idea where I can go to find them?

Seems you aren't the only one to have experienced this problem.  I do not use Outlook but here is one possible solution:

Crap. I did this but don't see where to delete exchange as it doesn't list it.

Jeff, do you use Outlook?  I don't have it available to run and give pointer on.

Jeff

No I don't, in fact I detest the program.  I have some web clients that use it and it is constantly the source of some sort of malfunction or headache.

Bill can you revert to the earlier edition? If so, are your contacts there?  If so, can you export them to an LDIF file?  If so, you may be able to then upgrade, and import the LDIF file to your upgraded program.

I Don't know other then if there is an option in uninstall like there used to be with internet explorer. I dont use that either. ;)

Or pull out the address book (contacts) file from the D drive, then import them to the 2007 installation?

I also detest Outlook.  If you like using a hard client, I recommend Thunderbird.  Otherwise, most providers supply web mail clients.

There is no need to say 'unleaded regular gas'. It's all unleaded. Just say 'regular gas'. It's not the 70s anymore. (At least that's what my wife tells me.)

I guess I mis spoke. outlook 03 installation folders are on my d drive. C was where it was running from.
I found the pst folders under documents and settings.

I am now attempting to download and install thunderbird to see if that will pick them up.

Dang it, 03 wasn't giving me any trouble just figured to upgrade now this mess.

Edit.... downloaded thunderbird but it did not bring any of the lost addresses over either.

Tried import, export all the ports...................

Now it looks like outlook corrupted my contact file as even thunderbird won't accept it.

I have a guy coming over tonight.

Hope whatever he does works as there are about 1600 names there.
