Deadwood

I found some snow...

Yesterday my schedule kind of opened up at the last minute so I loaded my snowmobile and headed up to Jackman, Maine. They had about 2 feet of snow and have been grooming since November. In any case I got up at 2:30 in the morning and got up there aound and got off-loaded and hit the trail at 6 AM.

I had dinner and supper at the Jackman Snowmobile Club, and because they were having Dog Sled Races that day, got to spend an hour checking out that sport. Very nice people...very friendly bunch that love explaining their sport.

Anyway, at 8:30 last night I loaded my sled back onto my truck. That was 14 1/2 hours later...more importantly, 403.3 miles later...

Wow what a great day of riding. I have never ridden that much one day in my whole life. Unfortunately my body feels it too. Now I got to log off and take a bath in ben-gay. I have sore muscles where I never knew I had muscles before. What a great day though.
