Title: New stuff
Post by: sandhills on August 12, 2014, 04:39:57 PM
In the last few weeks I've been able to try a few things I'd never heard of, or would have even thought of.  The first was a jar of horseradish jelly my wife picked up at the county fair, made by an older couple in a neighboring town, we tried lots of their stuff before but man is this good.  The old boy said you have to try it on porkchops, man was he right!  The second was at a local small town bbq contest, homemade rhubarb bbq sauce,  I have to get a hold of more of both of them, some tasty!  Just thought some of you folks that play around with this sort of thing might of tried them before and be willing to share a recipe or two?  I've playing around trying different jalepenos? popper stuff (abt's) and tried some of the jelly on them, this stuff is good!

goose I bought a roast just to try it  ;), I'm gonna get some more of the jelly to try in it too, we have a local bbq contest on the 23rd and I should be able to get both there, that jelly went fast.
