Scooped a deal on a husky 350 at the flea market today a newer one no bar and a 24" like new bar for a larger Husky $25.00.It has a comp. release seems strange on a 50cc saw do all 350's have them.??It started right up good cylinder and compression. The reason he quit using it is that little bevel gear adjuster was stripped, why did they mess with the tried and true screw adjust.I had a parts saw to replace the adjuster and a bar and chain in stock. Is there only one grade of 350  is it a semi pro saw.?? Sounds like you did well. The 350 is a good farm/ranch saw, a step up from the consumer unit but not in pro use league. If the bar is good you could scrap the saw and still be ahead of the game. ;D

Sawguy, that's what I figured the bar was worth the price of admission, and the saw would be good for parts, but I lucked out. Frank C.

The husky 350 is not one of huskys better creations, they can be a bear to start.I used the search function and took Ladylake Steves advice opening the idle adjustment screw a little and very limited use of the choke that seems to have cured it at  least until the next time I start it.Good running little rascal when it starts. Have any of you fellas replaced the .325 chain with 3/8 bar and sprocket, does the saw have the moxie for a 3/8 16" bar.?? Thanks Frank C.

I disagree they are a pretty good Homeowner saw.  I like them they are light handle good.  Known problems are muffler screws get loose burning hole in the oil tank.  Fix is 346XP muff. support.  Plastic clamp on the intake boot bad to leak.  Fix is partition kit w/steel clamp.
Depends on whether it's a 44mm piston 350 or a 45mm piston 350.  45mm should pull 16" 3/8.  The 45 mm 350 will have a 45 blue stamped on top of the cylinder.  The 345 is 44mm I think it's false advertising to sell it as a 350 simply by changing the starter decal to 350.  This is a pet peeve of mine on this model.

Shep, prehaps I was a little hard on the little saw all my saw are larger and more ballsy and not quite as finiky.Seems to be running better now I've gotten used to its starting procedure. Thanks for the info I'll check the top of the jug to see if its 44 or 45. Frank C.

I regard the 350 as maybe the best "homeowner" class saw ever made, and the fact that you can put a 346xp top end on it doesn't hurt at all!  :)

The 345 has a clamshell style 42mm top end - it is not the same saw with a different label.
