Today it jumped to $4.11.9 for 87 octane!

Believe it or not, Diesel dropped back to $3.89 here and $3.94 from $4.09 a couple days ago.

Filled up the truck yesterday, the gauge read half, and a 5 gal. can, total 75 litres----106.00

You must have a small tank on that truck. I put $100 in mine and it got me 1/2 a tank.

That equates to $6.50 US per US gallon. I thought that $4.15 a gallon was bad. There is one station in my area, northeastern Illinois, that is advertising Diesel at $4.08 a US gallon.

Filled up in Des Moines yesterday for $3.79 for the cheap stuff. That was in Iowa.

This morning, on the way to work I passed a Shell station that had $4.19 - $4.29 - $4.39. That is in Illinois.

Diesel is still under $4.00, but not by much.

Gas here went from $3.62 to 3.75 to $3.85 in two days. Sure am glad we killed Osama so the gas companies can have another reason to gouge us.

With our gas tax increase, I was surprised to be the same as Alberta. Monday I paid $1.29/litre. Goes up again tonight by a couple cents I think.

Should see a bit of a dip in price the coming week since the crude price fell quite a bit. Our heating oil may drop 5 cents a litre tomorrow, that's 19 cents a gallon, maybe more.

$1.31 at the end of the block, $1.25 5 blocks down the road and it hits about $1.20 about 20 mins from me. I'm burning up around $500.00 a month for my business and then there's our road ventures so I'm well over $800.00 a month.
I personally think the prices are getting beyond stupid :-[

I read an article tonight online that said they expect gas prices will drop 50 cents per gallon in the next few months. They're expecting oil to head back to $80.00/barrel in the next few weeks. I'll believe it when I see it. Although, if the job numbers don't start improving it could pull prices down. Or for that matter, if one of these other countries that's been having currency problems ends up on the rocks with their currency again, the dollar could gain strength and that too could bring the price of oil down.
