I'm not able to get any grease to go upward into the top bearing of the debarker mount. It just has the one zerk in the center of the mount, and gravity pulls the grease down fine, but not getting any up into the top portion I suspect. It will not swing inward on it's own anymore.

It's a little better after greasing it, but unless there's a trick to blocking off the grease from exiting the lower bearing (tried a thin rag no luck) so as to force it upward, looks like I will have to disasemble it. Any tricks?
The oil is all in Texas, but the dipsticks are in D.C.

it gets all clogged up sometimes, you'll have to pull the shaft out and clean everything up.

There's a fine line between turning firewood into beautiful things and beautiful things into firewood.

That's what I thought. I did squirt some hydraulic fluid on top of the bearing and on the spring/shaft and it is working, but I know this is not good to have hyd fluid in there. Slow moving part so it should be fine for a temp fix. Thanks.
