Gerald, the black wire from the pump is getting to the frame somewhere; whether as I described above, or as it passes thru the main control box, or inside the LubeMizer box.  It's looking for ground for the pump motor to run.

I reduced my blade inventory again today, yup an eye screw.  4 blades lost so far on this job.  This is some of the 9200+bf that I have sawn on this job.  Only two logs left that we will finish sawing Thursday morning.  Mostly 2X6 & 2X8 framing lumber for a new home for the customer.

This is a LINK to probably the largest total Cherry job that I have sawn, 2609bf.

I believe that this 31" butt Cherry is the largest that I have sawn.

I need to take our valve body up to Bluefield for a rebuild. From that era it probably has a Parker Gresen 25P valve bank which is out of support. I haven't looked recently but a grand to replace with new rings a bell from a few years ago.

Stuff I'm thinking about
I'm always willing to learn, show me how to brace a 13' wide pier foundation when design wind load hits the 60' wall and roof. What is the bearing capacity of the pier on your soil vs the design load per post.
A couple of Ben Brungaber's powerpoints online show a scissor truss they did, the do's and don'ts, which you seems to be fine on at a glance. Anyway worth looking up if you haven't seen it. I've looked at the first day cabins and there is a lot to be said for the concept. I have done built up trusses and as long as ebveryone is on board I like them. Dimensional design values and repetitive member increases on top of that... and the wood is dry, triple win.

Um, I'm thankful my radiology skills are limited.  That way I'm not sure of what I'm looking at!

I don't wanna know.  Doc, your post makes it sound bad!
