Paid $2.31 for diesel this morning. 10 miles down the road it was $2.95. I usually buy from the folks where it is $2.95, but for $20 diff on a tankful, I had to pass them by.

Shell regular with 3cent discount rewards card $1.889. Diesel is $2.669.

I've talked to distributers before, and they blame the high price on DELIVERY!

Gas is notably cheaper down around the Watertown, NY area. (50 miles south)

Pulaski down to Mexico is cheaper yet, then it ticks up towards Syracuse.

0.96/litre here. Last time I remember when oil was $47/barrel, gas was 0.70/litre and $CDN was worth $US 0.67 . Must have had a few tax hikes on petroleum in the last 15 years.  :  I know the wholsale price here is $52.40 as of today before tax. Getting as bad as cigarette and booze tax, which I don't partake.

We are paying less than 0.90/litre ($3.40/us gallon) for gas but on road diesel is nearly 30% higher.  Have a hard time computing why there is such a difference.

Gas went down in Streator today to a more realistic $1.679.  well OK $1.68

Saw $2.19 today just after I bought it up the road at $2.24. Road Diesel yesterday was $2.99 when everywhere else it's $3.10. Should have stopped off to buy Kero for the chipper instead....$2.59.....

I saw 2.19 this morning for regular and 2.79 for diesel.
A station just a few miles away was at 3.49 for diesel.
At 70 cents more per gallon they are proud of their brand obviously.
A 35 gallon tank would save you 24.50 to shop around.

I paid $1.63 for unleaded today. Diesel was $2.50. Unleaded in Tulsa was $1.49 today. bg
