Yea, I know. I hate Limbo. HATE IT

hey, party game.... :D ;)
I can't Limbo but I'll be there. This is my first time attending, can we bring toys aka chainsaws ???
There is another forum that has chainsaw get togethers that are loud with lots of sawing, this isn't that. The pig-roast is more like a family reunion where you get to meet the forum family to share stories and food.

I have a chainsaw that will work great on pork.  and my buddy Jim got this cask filled the other day.  I will try to bring it as well.  lots of great folks.  some whole families and kid friendly.  alcohol consumed in moderation.  good games, conversation, and occasional music.

I just came back to check on this thread and see if I missed anything new. While it was on my mind I went and checked the site availability at Hidden Hill Campground and see that there are 8 reservations in the the big weekend so far.
I can't wait until this comes together. Still holding out hope they will open the borders in time.

OK, maybe I am the woodcutter now.
I can work with wood, but I am NOT a Woodworker, yet.

Thanks for reminding me that this is getting closer.  I'm looking forward to it very much.  I have little hope that they will open the border, but miracles happen.

Golly, as I plan the trip to attend the Pigroast, I can get a airplane ticket and lodging, but finding a rental car that doesn't cost more than the airfare is out of sight.

I could fly into Chicago or Detroit from Portland, however either way I would need a car to get to Clare and be able to travel to a hotel and back to the Pigroast for a couple of days along with side trips.  While getting a car generaly is not a problem, the agency's cut back their fleets months ago and have yet to restock.  It doesn't look good for this summer.

Not sure what I need to do.  I want to come but it is looking like a $1000 trip easily...?

I guess when no one was able to fly or travel.  the agencies sold off most of their cars.  My neighbor noticed the enterprise rental place was back up to 8 cars.  Might be able to plan a car pool for someone without a car full of family.

I must be getting old, the last two times I was on the forum I could not find this thread.
I have no excuse not to make it as I am only 2 hours away.
Yes Jeff I will bring bread, unless your diet does not allow.
Just put it on the calendar.
