I saw this in the new Crate and Barrel catalog and just had to share. If the print is too small to read it says; "It's intricate, narrow grain and naturally occuring splits, cracks and knots are the result of a colder climate, making each piece unique." Also latter it says;.......four hefty legs, each hewn from a single piece of kiln dried heartwood that exposes the tree's inner rings (see inset photo detail.........."

Looks like improperly kiln dried to me :D :D

If you're selling it it's "highly figured, rare and desireable": its only a defectif you're buying and know better ;D

BTW....aside from the money, is there a difference between lying and marketing???? ::)
