Bill Cummings, Laporte California has just arrived with his new mill.  He's been anxiously awaiting this event for weeks.  Unfortunately one of the tracks was damaged in shipment.

This is how it is packed.

Set up and ready for the first log.

The very first cut.

This is the blade he is running.

Bill is not new to milling, he has owned a Mighty-Mite (very similar to a Mobile Demension) but it worked him a little too hard.  It cut faster than he could stack. ;D  After a few years of recovery he aquired this one.  Now all he has to do is find logs for it.

Hey, Tillaway, did he get the dedicated slabber with the unit?

I`d like to see one of those puppies in action one day.
Thanks for the pictures Till.

No slabber, he has not developed a market for those or anything yet.  His first project is cutting enough 2X6's to build a shed for it.  LaPorte gets up to 13' or 14' of snow every winter, so his milling will be seasonal.

This cuts pretty much as fast as the bigger ones, but he limited to 6"X6" cants max without turning the head.
