Has anybody ever used a Naarva felling head on their excavator. I am researching what is available for a 16 ton excavator and came across that brand. I would like to put a head on my machine for winter but don't really want to buy an un-tested unit. Thanks for any info.

If you want just a felling head try Ryans DS-20 or DS-28.  It is a straight felling head (dangle style) and built really tough

What i want is a Harvester head that will fit on a 2008 Bobcat 331 excavator.
Naarva S23 = 518 pounds
Arbro 400 = 616 pounds

or a pull through delimber i can use with the Bobcat 331

getting an Arbro 400 stroke harvester for the Bobcat E80 to cut and delimb the trees.
then a turbo saw for the Bobcat 331 to cut the small trees and the brush.
then use the Brushhound 30EX on the 331 to mow the area

the tree size difference between the Arbro 400 and 1000 is 4 inches and $25,000.

Let me know how you like it after you get it in the woods.

Just curious, how big of trees do you typically cut with a setup that size?
