Got your firewood done yet?

I WAS all set, but a neighbor was screaming for "seasoned" wood so I sold 2 cord. Should be all set again by the end of this weekend. Next year I plan to have a good 5 cord to sell. Not a lot of firewood coming out of the woods around here these days due to the price being paid for hardwood pulp.

Finally cut enough last winter to get two years ahead. Cut and split it last winter and just finished stacking it all last week. My wood storage is a lean to off the side of my 12'x16' shed. I have clear vinyl roofing on the lean to and the shed sits parallel to the prevailing winds so I get good air movement.

I'll likely cut another 2 years worth this winter. It'll be good to be a few years ahead on it. Never had that luxury before. 8)
