Advices from An Old Farmer
Your fences need to be horse-high, pig-tight and bull-strong.
Keep skunks and bankers at a distance.
Life is simpler when you plow around the stump.
A bumble bee is considerably faster than a John Deere tractor.

Thanks. Don't forget the old military and guntoter adages:

Don't draw fire - it annoys those around you.
Mr. Grenade in nobody's friend when the pin is pulled.
If the enemy is in range - so are you.
Shoot twice - bullets are cheap, lives are expensive
Nobody remembers who drew first - only who shot last.
If you're involved in a fair fight - your tactics suck!

When a lady asked a rural county sheriff why he had his pistol on, was he expecting trouble - his reply was "No Maam, if I was I'd have brought my rifle."
