More Problems With My Stihl MS170

Well, I finally got to try my saw, yesterday, and a new spark arrestor screen, plus installing a muffler gasket (for an MS250), did the trick. I did not have to go back into the carb (the metering lever was flush to the machined face of the carb body, when installed, and apparently the throttle butterfly is closing completely). I was quickly able to adjust the idle down, to what I would deem a normal rpm. There is no hesitation, and she turns up nicely, under full throttle.

I did my own work, and the carb kit, screen and gasket cost me about $10 total :)

Now that I have two screens, I'm going to change it out regularly, for a high heat carbon cleaning.
