I would like to prune some limbs on a Maple tree with in the next month. 1) Should I prune the limbs back to the base of the tree or should I leave about 6 feet and let it sucker out from there? 2) I have heard this may kill the tree is that true? Any other addition info would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
John
John;
Depends on what you want to achieve but there are rules for pruning ...
