The Loveley Miss Celest and I had a wonderful time here on the Canadian side If you have never been and plan to make sure you take one of the guided tours. They took us behind the falls, around the power plant, through the botanical gardens, across the gorge and up in the tower. Our guide had a great sense of humor and was overflowing   with information.

Here is  a shot of a barge that almost went over the falls in the 1800's and has been stuck ever since. It is slowly rotting away
