Title: Peavy/canthook
Post by: bandmiller2 on April 23, 2009, 06:44:51 AM
Does anyone[logrite mayby] make a longer swinging hook for larger logs. Many times its a hassle and requires several tries or two hands to get a good bite.Anyone tried a light spring on the swinging hook to make more of a ratchet out of it ,one hand operation??Frank c.

Frank,

Interesting, never thought about this-i always just gave the swinging part a kick, whatever it is called.....

note:i took all my old cant hooks and one peavy to a auction in pa-one cant hook brought 36.00

Am going to upgrade to Logrite-just want to be modern, like most on the forum..
